Re: Orange 1973 TS250?

How about the Ford Blue tractors?

I doubt any metallic tractor paint, but there was a ford blue that Suzuki used on some TS bikes.

Three passes over the continental divide and lunch at Frenchy's, what could be better?

Re: Newbie from Colorado!

welcome to the forum. Where in Colorado? I'm near Salida. We have a little high altitude ride over Labor Day weekend including Handcock, Cumberland, and Tincup passes. Leaving and returning to St Elmo. Care to join us?

Re: Piston damage

That is one ugly piston. it does look like it ran without oil.

I have a ball hone to fit the 400 and an inside diameter digital mic if you would like to come over and spend a day in my shop, drink a beer, and play with my dog.

'84 PE175 bottom end

I fired up an '84 PE175 today with a new bore .05 over with a new piston and rings. It rattled at idle for about two minutes and seized. I hate to part it out if someone out there has a bottom end. The rest of the bike is in great shape. Anybody got something to help me out?

Re: Voltage regulator location???

The Voltage regulator can hook anywhere in the AC part of the system. The issue is the '75 TS400 has a 6v system and the '74 TS400 has a 12v system. So the regulator is dissipating much more voltage than it was made for. A 12 volt regulator should be much easier to find.
